GENERAL INFORMATION:

 

1) We pay the utmost attention to the service our guests receive. The primary purpose of these general terms and conditions is to ensure that our guests receive the best possible service and, to this end, to clarify the most important general booking and service conditions.

 

2) At the Capricorne Hotel-Restaurant, the confidentiality of your information is important to us. Rest assured that all information provided is absolutely confidential. Furthermore, please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or for specific situations not covered below.

 

3) If applicable, please ensure that your booking agent has provided us with your mobile phone number so that we can reach you during your stay. If you arrive outside reception opening hours, it is imperative that you contact us beforehand so that we can inform you of the procedure for accessing your room.

 

ACCEPTANCE:

 

These conditions are deemed to be fully and unreservedly accepted by the customer upon booking. In the event of any conflict with other intermediary general terms and conditions, other general purchasing conditions, or any other form of terms and conditions or contracts, these general terms and conditions of sale of the Capricorne Hotel shall prevail over any other terms and conditions. Capricornes' failure to assert a breach by the client of any of the obligations set forth herein shall not be construed in the future as a waiver of the obligation in question.

 

Online acceptance of this agreement has the same evidentiary value between the parties as a paper agreement. If one or more provisions of this agreement are held to be invalid or declared as such pursuant to a law, regulation, or following a final decision of a competent court, the other provisions shall remain in full force and effect.​

 

DEFINITIONS:

SARL Capricornes: company operating the Hotel-Restaurant Capricorne establishment.

Guest: person staying at Hotel-Restaurant Capricorne.

Intermediary: any entity, organization, or company external to Hotel-Restaurant Capricorne or SARL Capricornes that may record and communicate a customer's reservation to Hotel-Restaurant Capricorne or SARL Capricornes.

Reservation: contract with these terms and conditions allowing a stay at Hotel-Restaurant Capricorne for a variable duration between specific dates and implying acceptance of these terms and conditions.

OPENING HOURS:

Our reception is open from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and Sundays and public holidays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. You can access your room outside of these hours by following the instructions below.

 

The restaurant is open every evening from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., except Sundays and public holidays.

 

 

CHECK-IN TIME:

 

Availability

Room check-in is guaranteed from 4:00 PM on the day of arrival. Arrivals before 4:00 PM are subject to room availability and are possible, subject to availability, for a fee of €20 plus any applicable taxes. It is imperative that you call us at +33 (0)2 54 80 27 00 on Sunday morning at the latest for arrivals on Sunday afternoon or Sunday evening, as well as on public holidays, to receive instructions on how to access your room outside of reception opening hours.

 

CHECK-OUT TIME:

 

Rooms must be vacated by 11:00 AM on the day of departure. Late check-out, between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM, may be permitted the day before upon request and subject to availability, for a fee of €20 plus any applicable taxes. Late checkout, after 1:00 p.m., may be authorized on the same day, subject to availability, and will incur a fee equivalent to one night's stay plus any applicable taxes. Any late checkout not authorized by Reception will incur a fee equivalent to one night's stay plus any applicable taxes.

 

CHANGES TO A RESERVATION:

 

In all cases, any change to the arrival or departure date must be communicated to your booking intermediary by email and to contact@hotelcapricorne.com before the end of the initially scheduled cancellation period. Any changes received after the required deadline will automatically incur a fee equivalent to a late cancellation of the reservation. Offers presented by an intermediary, external company, website, or other means are not exchangeable or combinable with any other current or future discounts or benefits. Reservations are personal and are not transferable or assignable, except with the express consent of Hotel Capricorne. In the absence of explicit agreement from Hotel Capricorne, the initial reservation will be billed to the booker under the conditions provided for cancellation, and the night will be billed in addition to the person present.

 

CANCELLATION:

 

Any cancellation request, made, where applicable, imperatively and first to your booking intermediary, must be received by Hotel Capricorne before midnight on the day specified in accordance with the specific cancellation deadline for your reservation. Any cancellation received after the specified deadline automatically incurs the penalties specified in the reservation, plus any applicable taxes. This period is 7 days for reservations made through intermediaries.

 

In the case of a direct reservation, by telephone at +33 (0)2 54 80 27 00, or via our website www.hotelcapricorne.fr, and excluding non-refundable rates, the cancellation period is reduced to 48 hours instead of 7 days. For cancellations requested after this deadline, only the first night will be charged instead of the entire stay in the case of bookings through an intermediary, and will be charged to the credit card provided as a guarantee.

 

GUARANTEES:

A valid credit card number is required at the time of booking. For guarantee purposes only, no payment will be triggered before the end of the cancellation period. This does not apply to explicitly non-refundable reservations, for which the entire prepayment is retained. In all cases, a credit card is required at the time of arrival. Offers presented and sold by a booking intermediary, external company, website, or other means are personal and are not transferable, transferable, exchangeable, or combinable with any other current or future discount or benefit. These offers cannot be refunded by the Capricorne Hotel. If a valid card number is not provided, the reservation will be automatically canceled and the room will be made available for any other reservation. No claims may be made, and Hotel Capricorne shall be released from all liability.

 

NON-REFUNDABLE RATES:

 

For all reservations at the non-refundable rate, full payment will be charged to the credit card provided at the time of booking. No refunds, for any reason whatsoever, will be given in the event of cancellation or modification of the stay.

 

PAYMENT FOR THE STAY:

 

Payment for the stay must be made no later than the time of departure, exclusively by credit card accepted by Hotel Capricorne, in cash, or by bank transfer received prior to arrival. Checks are not accepted. Unless expressly agreed otherwise by Hotel Capricorne, any non-payment will result in a penalty of €250 in addition to the amount of the stay.

 

QUIET, SMOKE-FREE, and PET-FREE ENVIRONMENT:

 

We are firmly committed to providing a quiet, smoke-free environment. We ask our guests to respect the quiet of the premises, especially at night. Out of respect for all guests present, the hotel

Smoking is prohibited in all our rooms, enclosed spaces, and common areas. Any violation of this rule will automatically result in a €250 fee. CONTACT-HOTEL CARD:

 

We are particularly pleased to welcome guests with the Contact-Hotel loyalty card, or we can also issue one upon request. Please note that the benefits of this card cannot be combined with reservations made through online booking sites, or with any other booking offer such as a box, contest, or promotional offer, except for our official Capricorne Hotel-Restaurant website, the Contact-Hôtel website, or a direct telephone reservation at the Capricorne Hotel at the standard rate. Loyalty points will only be earned for one night per cardholder, with no possibility of accumulating multiple points on a single card for a single night. Similarly, points will not be awarded in the event of a violation of these terms and conditions or in the event of any inappropriate behavior.

 

PRIVACY POLICY (GDPR):

 

The confidentiality of your information is important to us. Therefore, rest assured that any information you provide exclusively to our services is absolutely confidential. You have all the rights to modification or deletion made possible by the texts, and you will not be inundated with promotional emails directly from the Capricorne Hotel. However, the Capricorne Hotel cannot be held liable in any way for any processing carried out by an external company, particularly through your booking agent.

 

CHILDREN'S POLICY:

 

Children under 3 years of age stay free of charge when sharing a room with an adult. A maximum of one (1) child per room staying free of charge is permitted; additional children will be charged as additional adults.

 

MINIMUM AGE:

 

The minimum age required to check into the hotel is 25 years. All minors must be accompanied by an adult. A minor may never be alone in a room and must be under the constant supervision of their parents or guardian. Under no circumstances may hotel staff or management be mandated, implicitly or explicitly, to supervise minors, who remain under the full and exclusive responsibility of their parents or guardian. Under no circumstances shall SARL Capricornes and the Capricorne Hotel be held liable for any accident occurring to a minor. Furthermore, any damage will be billed at the actual cost, with a minimum flat rate of €250.

 

CHANGES TO THE GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

 

These general booking conditions may be modified at any time without notice and will apply to any reservation whose arrival date falls after the date of modification. Any implicit or explicit deviation from these terms and conditions shall not be permanent or acquired, nor shall they constitute a modification of these terms and conditions.

 

JURISDICTION:

 

In the event of a dispute, after contacting the hotel management and failing a satisfactory response within one month, the customer may contact the Tourism and Travel Mediator, whose contact details and referral procedures are available on the website www.mtv.travel. The applicable law is French law, and the competent jurisdiction is located in Blois. This provision applies to all contracts with SARL Capricornes. Any other provision or condition contrary to this stipulation shall be deemed null and void once the contract with the Capricorne Hotel-Restaurant is accepted or the reservation is made.
